Optimizing magnetic heating of isolated magnetic nanowires (MNWs) by simulation

Magnetic properties such as coercivity, remanence and saturation magnetization will determine the area enclosed by hysteresis loop of a magnetic material, which also represents heating. Nanowarming cryopreserved organs is new application for heating using nanoparticles. In this paper, isolated Ni MNW different sizes shapes are studied via micromagnetic simulation to explore optimization individual MNW. Ellipsoidal MNWs with small (30nm) diameters turn out be most promising in ability due their large potential distribute uniformly an organ that being heated. addition optimized heating, special switching pattern moment was observed cylindrical (200nm) This can trigger applications quantum computing.
